Hyundai Motors released their new latest model MPV-type named 2011 Hyundai ix20, dynamic modern style and functionality. It has a fluidic design with a touch of sleek style exterior reflects the dynamic flow, with dynamic design, economical power trains, unique flexibility and security without compromise.

The all-new ix20 will be available with a choice of four Euro V-compliant engines: two petrols and two diesels. Both engines cover a power spread from 77ps to 125ps and an efficient diesel 1.4 CRDi 90 hp. Every engine in the ix20 range will also be available in Blue DriveTM form. Manual and automatic transmissions will also be offered. It offers class-leading fuel economy and extremely low CO2 emissions, all the latest technology achievements in the active and passive safety.it has a most popular trim level, alloy wheels, body-colored door handles and mirrors and reversing sensors. In addition, it gets Bluetooth, electric rear windows and steering-wheel-mounted stereo controls.Interior features include: a height adjustable driver’s seat, ESP, 6 airbags, air conditioning, radio / CD audio system with 6 speakers and MP3-RDS-iPod connectivity.

The B-segment of the MPV market however, has increased its share from 23,3% to 29,2% over the same period. Hyundai’s fluidic design language makes a little car quite handsome, and the ix20 MPV at the Paris Motor Show is the latest to benefit from the rhinoplasty. To our American eyes, it’s a tiny piece of kit to be called an MPV, but the market for European B-segment people-carriers is robust. Aimed at Continental families, the wheels pushed out to the corners provides a pleasantly roomy interior for a car with its dimensions. Four powerplants can be placed under the hood, two gas engines and two oil-burners ranging from 75 to 122 horsepower. Hyundai has also found room for plenty of safety features, with ESP, ABS, and Hill Start Assist making the list of standard kit.
Expect more details on the ix20 to emerge at the 2010 Paris Motor Show on September 30, but don’t expect the car to arrive stateside anytime soon. Company representatives insist this will remain an European exclusive.
